Day 01: Cochin: Welcome to Gods own country! On arrival at Cochin Airport you will be met by our executive and transferred to hotel. Rest of the day at complete leisure or you have an option to take a sightseeing trip of Cochin like Chinese Fishing Nets, Dutch and Matancherry Palace, Marine drive, Synagogue etc. Overnight stay at hotel. 

Day 02: Munnar: Morning After breakfast drive to Munnar (150 Kms / 4 Hrs) enjoying the panoramic view of the green carpets of tea plantations en-route. On the way you can visit Cheeyapara Waterfalls. On arrival, check into Resort. Spend the rest of the day at leisure trekking around the estate, Overnight at your Resort. 

Day 03: Munnar: Morning sightseeing trip of Munnar including the Eravikulam National Park, the Mattupetty Dam. Rest of the day at leisure and enjoy another night, stay at your Resort.

Day 04: Periyar (Thekkady): Morning after breakfast check out from your resort and proceed to Periyar /Thekkady(120 Kms) and check in at the Hotel. After brief leisure go on a game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake, located in middle of the wildlife sanctuary. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which includes wild elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar and different species of birds, can also be spotted. Stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 05: Kumarakom: It’s (170 kms) is one of the most important tourist centers in the state. On arrival check in your backwater Ayurvedic resort, nestles on the serene banks of the Vembanad Lake. The vast stretch of tranquil, emerald green backwaters, in one of India's hottest holiday spots. Complete day kept at your leisure and by evening enjoy the beautiful sunset cruise over Vembanad Lake. Stay overnight at your backwater resort.

Day 06: Alleppey (Houseboat): After checkout from Kumarakom resort proceed to Alleppey (50 kms) and check in to your Houseboat (your luxury home on sail for next 24 hours). 

Houseboat trip is the perfect way to experience the backwater lifestyle of Kerala. The day long journey in the beautiful backwaters of Kerala is the only way to explore what otherwise seems more like a poet’s version. 

As your trip would start, it would seem like any other boat trip but within just one-hour time, the boat will reach in the area, which is just breathtaking. It is far beyond imagination that how a whole life is running across both the corners of backwaters. Your houseboat trip makes you experience this very unique thing. While sitting on the deck of your houseboat or while sitting in the spacious open sit-out area, outside your bedroom, you can see the people starting their day. Among the many interesting things which you can see in the day long journey, few which I am sure would catch your attention are: 

a) Children being taught the swimming lessons right at their doorstep.

b) Children going to school in little boats.

c) Vendors selling cold drinks and other grocery items in the boats. And

d) Families moving from one place to another in the houseboat.

By the evening, your boat will get anchored close to one of the villages, located by the backwaters. You can surely take a tour of this small village. During the whole day, you will be served delicious meals prepared by your chef and his assistants. Overnight at your luxury air-conditioned houseboat.

Day 07: Kovalam: Morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Kovalam (170 kms), driving through beautiful countryside, coconut grooves and paddy fields. On arrival check-in your beach resort. Complete day at your own leisure exploring the white sand beaches of Kovalam. It is the magnificent beach of Kerala, can be compared to any of the finest beaches in the world. The blue water of the Arabian Sea, miles and miles of the fine sand, the entire area dotted with stately palms, an ideal located to sun bathe in the silver sand.

Day 08: Kovalam: Today you have an option to take a sightseeing of Trivandurm including Museum, Padmanabha Swamy Temple and Science & Technology museum. Stay overnight at your beach resort.

Day 09: Kanyakumari: Morning after breakfast check out from Kovalam & Proceed to Kanyakumari (100 KMS). On arrival check into your hotel. Then go for sightseeing tour which includes Devi Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekandha Rock and Kumari Amman Temple. Overnight at Kanyakumari.

Day 10: Departure: Morning after breakfast check out from your hotel & proceed to Trivandrum Airport for onward destination of your trip with warm Memories of a Kerala with “Cicerone India Tours”.
